METASTRA Coordinator Co-Chairs Track at VPH 2026 Conference

METASTRA is pleased to announce that Prof. Luca Cristofolini from the Biomechanics Group at the University of Bologna, coordinator of the METASTRA project, will co-chair the track “Decision support systems for clinical applications/technology” at the 9th International Conference on the Virtual Physiological Human (VPH 2026). He will co-chair the track together with Prof. Damien Lacroix from the Insigneo Institute.

The conference will take place from 1 to 4 September 2026 at Politecnico di Milano and brings together researchers working on computational modelling, digital health, and translational biomechanics. The selected track is highly relevant for the METASTRA community, particularly for researchers developing computational models and clinical decision support tools for fracture risk assessment in vertebral metastases.

The Call for Abstracts is now open, with a submission deadline of 2 March 2026.

More information about the conference and the call for abstracts is available on the VPH 2026 website.
