METASTRA holds 4th General Assembly in Utrecht

The METASTRA consortium gathered in Utrecht, The Netherlands, on 10 and 11 June 2026 for its 4th General Assembly, hosted by the University Medical Center Utrecht, Department of Radiotherapy.

The two-day event brought together all consortium partners for a full review of progress across the project's seven work packages, covering topics from data collection and harmonisation to regulatory roadmaps, clinical validation, and exploitation strategy. Presentations were delivered by researchers and clinical partners from institutions including the University of Bologna (UNIBO), the University of Sheffield (USFD), ETH Zurich, the University of Zaragoza (UNIZAR), Buda Health Center (BHC), Charité Berlin, and others.

Day 1 concluded with feedback from the Medical Advisory Board, followed by an Exploitation meeting and an Executive Board session. Day 2 was dedicated to focused technical sessions on clinical validation, data-driven models, physiology-based models, and regulatory topics.
